Each year New Jersey honors students, their educators, parents, schools, and the school board members that contribute to the high quality special education services in our state.

Authorized by statute, the second week in May is designated Special Education Week in New Jersey. This year Special Education Week in New Jersey falls on May 10-16, and the theme for Special Education Week 2020 is “Creating, Learning, Growing.” ASAH is pleased to partner with The New Jersey School Boards Association to celebrate and commend them for their dedication and hard work.

Owing to the COVID-19 public health emergency the public program including the annual awards luncheon, have been suspended until 2021.

In the meantime, we’d like to share a gallery of student artworks submitted for our annual art contest.
